Efficacy : Pycnogenol® is a natural extract of the bark of the pine (Pinus pinaster) de Gascogne from Landes with antioxidant properties. Pycnogenol® is a 70% titrated to oligo-proanthocyanidins-OPC, a molecule of the flavonoid family (polyphenols). To date, pine bark and grape seed are the major sources of OPC. Pycnogenol® contains not only OPCs but also other bioflavonoids such as catechins, epicatechin and taxifolin, as well as phenolic acids such as ferulic acid and caffeic acid.
