Efficacy :  Lutéile® Vision + is a dietary supplement based on natural lutein and zeaxanthin, Pycnogenol®, bilberry, zinc, selenium and copper. Lutein and zeaxanthin are naturally occurring carotenoids in the retina and lens. They are particularly concentrated in the macula, an area of the retina where visual acuity is maximal. These two specific carotenoids are not produced by the body, which remains dependent on dietary intakes.
• FloraGLO® (patented active) Lutein and OPTISHARP® (patented active ingredient) Natural Zeaxanthin are derived from Indian marigold flowers. (1 capsule of Luteile® Vision + provides 10 mg of lutein and 2.6 mg of zeaxanthin.)( free lutein is identical to that present in the body)( Lutein "free" is directly bioavailable, unlike esterified lutein whose assimilation by the body requires a hydrolysis step.)
• Pycnogenol® is a bark extract from the Landes de Gascogne pine with 70% procyanidin (OPC) titre, (patented active) active ingredients of the bioflavonoids (polyphenols) family.
• Bilberry is a bay of the lingonberry family.  It complements the Lutéile® Vision + formula
• Zinc is a trace mineral that helps maintain normal vision. Present in ocular tissues, and more particularly in the retina, it is involved in the cycle of vision.   
• Selenium, copper and zinc help protect cells against oxidative stress. 
• Without addition of excipient. Without animal origin. Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
 
Suggested Use and Dosages :  1 capsule daily for 30 days. Renewable program.

*Pregnancy / Breastfeeding : As a precautionary measure, Pycnogenol® is not recommended for pregnant women in the first trimester of pregnancy. Insufficient information on taking Pycnogenol® and breastfeeding, it is not recommended to use it during breast-feeding as a precautionary principle.**
*Taboo / Interaction: If you are taking medications at the same time, ask your health professional for advice. At high doses, Pycnogenol® may be a supplement to blood pressure lowering, hypoglycemic, antiplatelet or anti-clotting medications, herbs or supplements. However, it should be noted that there is no observed interaction between anticoagulants and PJ in clinical studies conducted by the manufacturer.**
