Product Description : German chamomile (Matricaria recutita) essential oil has a pungent, herbaceous aroma. Its dark blue hue color is due to the presence of a compound called chamazulene. Chamazulene has potent anti-inflammatory and infection-fighting properties.

How to use : 
Anxiety
German chamomile essential oil helps to ease tension and to calm the anxious mind. Studies have shown the use of chamomile to have anxiolytic (anti-anxiety) effects in persons with mild to moderate generalized anxiety disorder.
Adults/children: 4 drops of German chamomile essential oil are applied in a diffuser on a piece of linen cloth or handkerchief and slowly inhaled.
 
Digestion
German Chamomile essential oil relax the digestive system, helps to ease indigestion, upset stomach that results in diarrhea.
Adults/Children: Massage 2-3 drops of the mixture on the abdomen in a clockwise motion following the natural movement of the colon.
 
Stress
German Chamomile essential oil is most beneficial for those who experience anger and inflammation when under stress. It has a well established reputation as a remedy for soothing the nerves and to promote relaxation.
 
Pain relief
German Chamomile essential oil anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic actions relax the smooth muscles lining the stomach and intestine. It is also used to soothe issues such as headaches, relaxing sore muscles tight joints and back aches. German Chamomile can ease menstrual cramps, inflammatory bowel conditions.
Add 20 drops to a Chamomile blue essential oil to 50ml of a carrier oil such as hazelnut or grape seeds oil and gently massage aching joints and muscles
 
Hair growth: 
Add 15 drops of Chamomile blue essential oil to 50ml of a nourishing base oil such as sweet almond or jojoba oil, massage it into the scalp, wrap the hair for an hour to condition and encourage healthy
 
Calming blend
Adults/children:
2 drops German Chamomile
4 drops Rosa Damascena
4 drops Lavender
1 tablespoon sweet Almond oil
Blend all of the drops together in a small, dark, air-tight bottle and massage formula into areas of tension on your body.
 
Inflammatory bowel conditions, menstrual cramps: 
Massaging it into your back lower back and abdomen.
Children: Massage 2-3 drops of the mixture on the tummy in a clockwise motion following the natural movement of the colon.
 
Precautions
• Allergy : Do not use German Chamomile if you are allergic to ragweed, marigolds, daisies, or any other member of the Asteraceae plant family.
• Allergy test : Use one drop essential oil and rub on your inner forearm. Then wait 15 minutes. If there is redness, skin irritation or any allergic reaction, discontinue use immediately.
• Do not use German chamomile two weeks before a scheduled surgery or dental work because of the increased risk of bleeding.
• Pregnancy : Do not use German Chamomile in the planning stages to become pregnant and during pregnancy.
